Ironman helmet

Create your very own shell head.

Came across some plans for creating your own Ironman helmet and thought I would share them here (yeah, I'm nice like that).
All you have to do is print them out on A4, cut along the blue lines, apply a little glue and hey presto.
NB: Don't use the ones shown here, they will be too small (unless you are a pin head?), use the ones from the zip file below.
Might be an interesting thing to do...
You can download a zip file of the full size plans here : ironman_helmet.zip
Whilst we are on the subject of Ironman costumes, checkout this thread from SuperHeroHype.com. That's whole lotta work right there, and bloody impressive to boot.

Hi Quickie (!),
I didn't actually create this template, I simply found it and thought it cool enough to re-print here (as explained in the post). I haven't actually built it myself, but I would suggest just playing around and see what you get. It's only paper after all...
Please post back and let me know how you get on.

the pieces in page 2 and 3 are suppose to be of the same size right?
But there are 3 patterns in page 2... if i print it on an A4 size paper the pieces will not be of equal in size..
is there a separate pattern for the 2 patterns in page 2 corresponding in size to those in page 3...
or could i just reverse the patterns in page 3?? but how about the 3 pattern in page 2...
assistance please i would like to make one for my 4 year old kid... thanks a lot

Hey Paul,
Good of you to drop by. I found this work last year and thought it so good I wanted to make a post about for others to share. I didn't know where it came from at the time, but feel free to post a link to your own site in the comments, especially if folk can grab more of your stuff!

The white parts on the last page are just a template for you to use when cutting the plastic for the eyes.

I am the creator of these files. I did them shortly after the films release. The black piece on page one sits inside the helmet at the back of the mouth to add strength.

No idea fella. I didn't create it, just passing it along...
