Hero Machine 2.5
This is just so cool. I always likes the original Hero Machine, but now I discover that they are currently running at version 2.5!
Hero Machine is a Flash based application that allows you to put together your very own Superhero caricature, using a myriad of different options. Find a likeness of yourself and see how you would look with a cape flowing behind you, or energy pulsating from your hands and eyes!
I can think of a couple of additions that I would like to see:
1. the ability to save your creations as an image.
2. the ability to upload photos of your own face, that would get converted into a cartoon and made available in the app for you to use.
Aside from those, I think it's an awesome little piece of geek fun, and a great improvement on the original. Add to this their other creations, and you have a heck of a suite to waste away the hours!

On a side note, I'm really jealous of the look they have for their website, much more comic book than mine. Might have to 'borrow' (ahem) some points from them!
