It's a girl!

Could life get any sweeter?

Two years ago I didn't want anything to do with marriage or kids! I was just out of a 7 year relationship and was set to live life as a batchelor. Then I met Charlotte. A year and one day later we were married, but not before we discovered two weeks before the wedding that Charlotte was pregnant!
Well, today at 1:22pm our beautiful baby daughter Evie Grace came into the world, weighing in at a respectable 6 pounds 3 and one half ounces. All fingers and toes are in place, and I know I'm biased but she's gorgeous. It wasn't the easiest of births, but at least it was fairly quick and both are doing well. A HUGE thankyou needs to go to the staff at Southmead Delivery Suite, especially the midwives Caroline and Kacie, who never left our side and made the whole experience a lot less traumatic.
Evie seems really alert and will track my hand with her eyes already, sleeps well through the loudsest of dins (maternaty suites are not the quietest of places!), and seems to enjoy her food (definately my offspring).
She can't yet sing, dance, play guitar or weild a Katana... but I'm sure it's just a matter of time.
