Believing in dreams can be a curse, but not following them can be even worse.
When the tide of luck turns
and your life fills with sorrow,
think of the dying man
and give thanks for tomorrow.
There are no Gods,
but the ones we create.
So choose Idols wisely,
or share in their fate.
Beware the Man with blackened eyes,
and deathly stare so hollow.
Do not give him any solace,
as misery will follow.
In the wee small hours when the world is still and all around in bed,
Go out into the perfect night and watch the comets overhead.
There's a wind that blows where nothing grows,
but misery and sorrow.
This time of pain will change again,
Just wait until tomorrow.
We may not always get the things
that ignite our heart's desire,
But life is opportunity
so light another fire.
Don't dally in the darkened place,
or spend your time in shadows.
Step into the light my friend
and come down from the Gallows.
There'll be a time when once again
you'll want to share your smile.
You'll laugh, you'll sing, you'll dance again,
it just may take a while.
"Three times tonight well that's alright"

so just think about expression, and find another way.
Scratch the surface, peek inside, see what makes me tick.
Discover who I really am, you'll see I'm not so thick.
Don't walk around with head held low,
recounting why you're glum.
Stand up straight and lift your head,
step out into the Sun.
Men make Gods to fill the void of aching empty worth.
But if you want to see a miracle, just go and watch a birth.
Don't worship at the alter of an imaginary friend,
Stand upon your own two feet, it's all rubbish in the end.
When worlds collide and paths are crossed
there's never any winner.
The only outcome possible
is the human soul gets thinner.
Friendship comes in many forms,
and when you least expect it.
Takes it's offer with both hands,
and make sure that you respect it.
Through hooded eyes and passion's cloud,
she calls her lover's name out loud,
clawing flesh and gasping for air,
praying that he touch her there,
beads of sweat mix with waves of fire,
'till she surrenders herself and gives into desire.
Who's to say what's right or wrong
when laws are made by man?
Accept the gifts life offers you
and take pleasure where you can.
When all around are looking down
and trying to make you stumble,
speak up above those other fools
and hear the mountains rumble.
You're a lion, roar, you know you can that's all you have to do.
For in the end when the masks are gone, all that's left is you.

and let the Eagle fly.
If practice makes perfect why do we bother
when perfection cannot be attained?
But there's no excuse for cutting loose,
we should be better trained.
Don't try to change the minds of those
who are ignorent to your struggle.
Strive to find another path,
That's a far more worth while puzzle.
Put down your arms,
don't throw your hand,
violence is never the way.
I'm ready to listen if you're here to talk,
Just tell me what you have to say.
Can you say with no doubt,
when you're checking out,
that you've given life all that you can?
When the Reaper arrives to put pennies on eyes,

Cheat with the flesh and not with the heart,
to avoid any trouble or strain.
Confuse the two and it's over for you,
you'll never find love again.
Don't chastise the man who begs on the street
without taking a look at the shoes on his feet.
In dusky mist the Warrior waits,
poised and coiled to strike.
Though society took away his swords,
he can still rely on might.
With stealy eyes he stalks his prey,
those who would refrain him.
He cares not for the reasons why,
so don't try to contain him.

Don't harbour an impending doom
step aside and give it room,
and as it passes bid it sway,
with a smile as you send it on it's way.
When you feel your life has lost it's way,
just stop and watch a child play.

they're happy splashing in a puddle.
Don't be afraid to challenge,
when you think you have a right.
But be certain of your reasons,
and keep your goal in sight.
Technology has made us lazy,
overweight and blind.
Would it be so bad to start again,
and leave it all behind?
Look up at the morning Sun
as the day starts to arrive.
Take pity on the lost at night,
and give thanks that you're alive.
Take a leaf and hold it steady.
It will drop, when it's ready.
What bonds are placed upon us,
by those we cannot see?
What effort would it take us,
to set each other free?
Would you be a different person,
if you were from another class?
If the answer's 'Yes' I pity you,
you're nothing but an Ass.
Give advice freely.
Say "Thank You" like you mean it.
If you have occasion to say "I'm Sorry",
don't laugh and then demean it.
There comes a time
when we all must decide,
how much of ourselves
we are going to hide.
Do you show everything,
or hold some of it back?
Well you just better hope,
the veneer doesn't crack.
What do Angels dream of,
as they close their eyes to sleep?
Do they ponder on the world we've made,
and shudder as they weep?

Someday you will want to stand
and shout for what is right,
But the only way we'll affect a change
is when we all combine our might.

All that is left is to offer a kitten...
How many times will we have to grieve,
for the death of the precious air that we breath?
