Are video games bad for kids?

Ever since the first Binatone console was unwrapped and plugged in, we have had the do-gooders, sandel wearers, and tree huggers bleeting about how video games are the scourge of modern society. Well "pish posh" say I! They didn't do me any harm (granted the ZX81 didn't have a vast choice!), so why should they affect anyone else?
I think the following videos are a strong argument for allowing your children to play all the video games they like, to help them grow in a useful and positive way...
Modern Warfare 2: Call of Duty
Modern Warfare 2: Call of Duty (aftermath!)
World of Warcraft
World of Warcraft 2
World of Warcraft (German Kid)
No idea!
I have no words!!!!!
